    Dr. Martens is a brand with a history. Dr. Klaus Maertens was an army doctor during the Second World War. While on leave, he went skiing, injuring his ankle. The regular army boot made him uncomfortable, so he designed appropriate footwear for himself. This served as a model for the Dr. Martens boots. Due to a unique and characteristic DNA, Dr. Martens marked entire generations with different models of shoes. They can rightly be proud of the past, but they continue to focus on the future.
