        Spring 2006 .... two ladies of the Brako design team are confronted with wearing orthotics .... After a slight panic attack as a result of the confrontation with the supply of shoes and sandals at specialized stores, it was time for action. The conclusion that the existing offer turned out to be a bit old, expensive and only present in shops other than those they traditionally visited, was acknowledged by many. There was room for a nice alternative, adapted to the anatomy of the foot.

        That need turned out to be great. Fashion is a continuous change and a reflection of the moment. You want to choose from fun colors, regularly change shoes, sandals or slippers. That is precisely the fun thing about fashion. The intention is to make this possible again.

        The eco aspects are self-evident for Brako Anatomics and are an integral part of the state of mind when creating the collection. Chrome-free natural leathers, the water-based adhesives are witness to the continuous care and attention that people have for the environment and people. It is a step in the right direction, but certainly not the last.
